Solution Steps

1. Log in to paypal.com.
2. Click the gear icon (Settings) → Account → Close your account.
3. Review your account information.
4. Withdraw or transfer any remaining balance first.
5. Click "Close Account" and confirm.
6. Enter your password to verify.
7. Your PayPal account will be permanently closed.
