Fix Wi-Fi Not Working on Windows 10/11

Solution Steps

  1. Check Wi-Fi is enabled: Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → Toggle on.
  2. Restart your router and modem by unplugging for 30 seconds.
  3. Run Windows Network Troubleshooter: Settings → Network & Internet → Status → Network troubleshooter.
  4. Reset network adapter: Device Manager → Network adapters → Right-click Wi-Fi adapter → Disable, then Enable.
  5. Update Wi-Fi driver: Device Manager → Network adapters → Right-click → Update driver.
  6. Forget and reconnect: Settings → Wi-Fi → Manage known networks → Forget → Reconnect.
  7. Run command: Open Command Prompt as Admin → Type "netsh winsock reset" → Restart PC.
